Although I am one of those who migrated to this site for the sake of chat and have been anxious for restoration of the chat room, I've come to find over the last week that the forums have been both entertaining and interesting. So in a way, the delay of the new chat room has benefitted me greatly. I'm sure there must be others who feel this way too.

My message? I appreciate all the effort you and others have made to provide this civil venue for us communicate about things that matter to us, as well as things that amuse us.

I feel the same way about the chat delay. The forums have been a lot of fun and while I've been posting on them for awhile, I got to see them a little differently this past week.

Welcome to the Planet, Jean. I hope you have found everything you ever thought about chatting about here. If not, make up your own forum thread and start it. In the mean time, enjoy your temp. chat here with the rest of us chatters waitn for the chat room to be up and running again.

Hello Justy! How are you?? It was a long day but a great one so I really have no complaints. My plans are coming along slowly but surely. There are so many things I have to take into consideration. At least I've been more productive the last couple of days.

I don't have any plans other than working all week and making my own fun. How about you?

I am doing fair to midland lol. I am glad you had a great day. Good that your plans are coming along. I can't even begin to imagine the types of things you have to take into consideration to get your shop up and running mobile. I hope everything comes along well. I bet your glad you've been more productive lately, and I bet you've gotten a lot of things done since chat's been down. I was hoping to see my dad this march, but he's not able to come up this time. He said maybe in April he will be able to. Heck by that time, I'll be ready to go see him and grandma and the rest of my family south of me. I miss them all and can't wait to be able to go see them. It's been really cold here this week, a cold front blew in and it's been making me ache all over because of the weather change, so I'm just taking it easy til I feel better. I can tell I"m not young anymore LOL .

I'm o.k darlin' I'm sorry, I've not been too much on lately. My normal Sunday off was actually spent at work, and Monday was just wretched because of the high winds we had down this way. - grrr- It forced us to stay late at work Didn't get home til around 845pm. I will say this though, those extra 2 hours they made us stay (day shift is already there for 11 hours on a normal day) cracked me up. We were as loopy, as loopy can be.--- As far as doing stuff around the house..... I havent done jack didly, really. I'm going with a friend tomorrow to sign paperwork for the apartment, and thats when i'll know what i'm moving into. Its been a big toss up between 1 or 2 bedroom. I've lost out on alot of travelling these past 4 years and I'd really like to catch up on it. So my delimma is 1 bedroom, travel more but less space, or 2 bedroom- still travel but not as much and have room for company and NOT have to sell all my stuff cause it wont fit in the 1 bedroonm. Basically, it's going to boil down to "what do you have that has hardwood floors". Once I know, then i can either sell everything (cause it'll be a 1 bedroom) or box everything up and have a small garage sale. Hardwood floors needed cause of Daphne, she's special needsish. I probably wont be moving until the last week of March. I'm hoping to get everything moved out, so that the house will be completely empty so I can paint it all back to boring beige. Bleh. I really wanted to take a trip out to livingston,tx tomorrow but unfortunaly "where are you going to live" seems to take precedent. I haven't heard from an ex/friend in a while and it bothers me. He would never go this long without talking to me, and his number changed. So I wanted to drive out there and see his mom and make sure everything was o.k. And maybe hit up Nadeest and get lunch. mmmm... that mediteranean place was so flipping good.. nom nom. (I'm off tomorrow... hence my aversion from sleeping) Tho, I believe i'll be passed out by midnight. Hey, have you ever gone to the Munster Mansion outside Waco? I've been wanting to go for ages, but never went. Think I may this year. Are you getting better with your ickie sickies? I was coughing up a storm today, but I think that was because of how much I talked yesterday.

Yeah, I'm better with the icky sicky, it's just my bones that ache all over now because of this freaking cold storm that blew in. I've had wind speeds up to 60mph here, it's freaking crazy, blew off a ton of shingles, and speaking of that, I gotta call mom to make sure her house hasn't lost any otherwise i gotta go on the roof there and replace shingles when the winds die off. I'm not doing nuttin around here, dead as door nail. Just taking it easy and watching crap on tv being bored outta my mind.
I hope you come to a decision soon otherwise yer gonna not a have a place to live and yeah, I bet you got some house painting to do. Why don't you hire someone to do that like a neighbor that's needing extra work or something and just get that part taken care of. I hope you find a nice place for you and the furr babie(s)...not sure what kind you have or how many. Anyway, I bet you were looopy that day at work, I woulda been. I'm sure your probably out like a light right now, it's after midnight just now. So, sleep well and get some rest Cailin.
