Scientists from NASA's Johnson Space Center are in the process of developing warp technology.
Specifically, they are in the process of investigating the logistics of the Alcubierre drive, which would hypothetically allow spaceships to travel more than ten times faster than light-speed WITHOUT violating the laws of physics.
