TRUE BELIEVERS - Religious beliefs, verses, poems and prayers...
Okay, I must reveal where I've had the privilege to read and use the verses I've posted in this thread. I've been using Jesus Calling, Devotions for Every Day of the Year, Enjoying Peace in His Presence.
Today, I must return it to the library. I'll try to get postings for other days, but I'm sure someone will check it out very soon. I hope that you, my brothers and sisters, will continue to post in this thread and that others will continue to read this thread even if they never post. I've found this book very comforting to my aching heart and soul. I hope that others have found some solace and comfort in the postings of this thread. Everyone have a wonderful weekend.

The Bible tells us in 1Thessalonians 5:17
to pray without ceasing. This verse reminded me of a song about talking to God and how everything will be alright. I feel better when I pray. Do I pray without ceasing? Of course not but when I do pray and lay my burdens down, and give them to God I feel releaved and loved.
