A dork, that is what you are
A geek in spades I say
But you are all mine
For now and always
Am I yours?

Some may think when I call you a dork
That I mean you are a fool or a simpleton
But they are sadly mistaken
For you are neither of those
Sometimes so intelligent it is frightening

I am sure a few think I mean you are a dick
But that is farthest from the truth
So sweet and lovable
The purest heart I have ever known
So very dorky and cute and lovable all at once

That green shirt you wear
Saying Adorkable
Is my favorite shirt you own
So very adorkable
The main reason I am madly in love with you

Making googly eyes at you
So cute are you blushing so dear

Come my dear don't deny my eyes
So cruel of you to reject the lust I have for you
Don't turn your beautiful blue eyes away from me please

Ha! You know me too well my little french fry!
It is way too much fun harassing you my little love!
To tease you is the highlight of my day.

Don't think I don't mean what I say
You are so uberly sexy my dear
But I know you have eyes only for him.

In the meantime I will poke and prod you
Tease you mercilessly about your hotness
And how much I want to have my way with you.

So enjoy my loving affection
And adulation
For I am sure one day I will get bored and move on.

What you see is not what you get with this nut
I have layers upon layers more like an onion
So maybe I am not a nut nor an onion
In the end it matters not if you don't stick around to find out

My bipolar does not make me who I am
Maybe it is my empathy for humankind
Same reason for my distaste for them I say
I can see the good, but I can see the bad just as easily

I cannot be sized up in one glance or even two
A month is not enough to truly know me
Neither is a year or two
To know my true inner being it takes a lifetime

Excuse me if I don't have time for you
When you are so unwilling to give me a fair shot
You assume you know me already
When we have never met til now

So go your merry way
With your preconceived notions
No skin off my back honey
I know who my friends are in the end

A smile spreads over my face

A promise given all over again

Through thick and thin

A pledge of our love
For one another
Growing stronger every day
The loving morning kiss

A vow every day
That we will be there

A cold swirling blackness surrounds me
Hiding the sun from my eyes
Hiding the warmth from my flesh
I call your name searching for you

The darkness sticks to me
It won't let me go
It won't let me be free
To feel true love and warmth of friends

This darkness all encompassing
Blinding me and others view of me
I was happy once
Til the darkness came

Never ending
Cold and alone
I stand in the darkness
Calling your name

What is that?
A spark in the distance?
Is that you? My love?
Can you hear me calling out to you?

Again your name, again the spark
But bigger and with warmth
Is that your hand I see reaching into the darkness?
Reaching into the darkness for me?

My hero to brave the darkness
As you wrap your arms around me
Enveloping me in love and warmth
The darkness dissipates with an explosion of light

And I know forever more
I am never alone
For I have you by my side
To help my keep the darkness at bay

Sitting here by this fire
Feeling the warmth
Looking into the heart of it
I feel as if I am carried away

As if I am dancing among the flames
As the wood turn to embers
The smoke swirling off into the night air
The wood crackling and popping

As the fire wraps itself around my heart
I feel a peace settle over me
A peace I rarely feel at all
I feel as one with the fire

Chaos and destruction
But a giver of life at the same time
I am a lover of fire
And fire a lover of me

Ever have one of those days
Where everything seems just too much
All you want to do is break down to cry

A person comes along
They just don't get your level of stress
All they have to say is "Take a chill pill"

That is just too much
Sends you over the edge
But only inside your head

For if your thoughts escaped
Mayhem would ensue
None would be safe from that metaphorical "chill pill"

The boss that is lazy and wants you to do all his work
The friend who wants you to save them from ever crisis they created
The screaming children who want this and want that but don't ask but demand

You want me to "Take a chill pill" you say
Live a day in my life to see if that is possible
I am sure you will need a padded room when your day is over.

Until you live that day, leave me alone
I deal the best that I can with the stress that I have
Don't ever say "Take a chill pill" again

For those might be your last words
As I shove your tongue down your throat
And as I laugh merrily all the while!
