I keep having this dream that I'm trying to get in the door at work and the metal detector keeps going off.

I've sent my bag through the x-ray machine so it's something on my body.
I take off my jewelry. Alarm goes off.
I empty my pockets of change and whatever. Alarm goes off.
I take out my hair clip. Alarm goes off.

Meanwhile, there's a huge line of people behind me who are annoyed by the hold-up. In my dream, the man behind me huffs so forcefully that I feel my hair blow forward.

That's what my waking thought was this morning, and you can bet your ass I didn't wear so much as a sliver of metal on my body today. I still held my breath as I strode through the machine.
