Taking the two cats to the vet for their annual exams/shots/etc. with the kiddo. Before I could answer any of the questions the vet was asking, my daughter started answering and just took over the entire conversation. The vet asked my daughter how she was doing in school and she told her she was a straight "A" student because "It's fun to be smart" and getting good grades "Gives you a lot of options later." The vet looked at me, looked back at her and asked if she would like to come shadow her some during the summer at the clinic.

Wow....only 10 years old and already on her first internship.

So my daughter, and a very understanding and supportive vet, made me smile.

My day started with a cup of herbal, after waking up to the most incredibly calm and wonderful dreams. My boss was in a fantastic mood, the energy at work allowed me to focus and get really creative.

I got some major errands ran and I haven't stopped smiling! Or singing or dancing.

Now I am just wandering in my daydreams and hoping that I will still feel this productive after I make lunch.

I really think this is going to be a good day for me! I hope my fairy dust brings smiles to loved ones.

My Mother stumbled across a funny little letter written to her by my Grandfather back in 1980 when I was about 3. The letter is a kindly "threat" that as the horse trainer of his race horse, she should win the coming race meet. She did not win the race, and happily G-pa did not end up selling apples and pencils on the street.

He also included some doodles at the bottom of myself and my sisters(2 at that time)

Oh my gosh, ok so when my Italian Greyhound, Gus gets really hyper, he runs around at light speed everywhere. Today he was running through the kitchen and slid across the hardwood in slow-mo and into a wall. No worries, he wasn't hurt, but it was hilarious. I wish I had a video.
