I'm from....
 The town of historic Madison, Ga. was not burned by Sherman because his best friend, whom he met at West Point, hailed from Madison. It was instead used as a Union base.  One of my favorite places is Cumberland Island. Yes, they really do still have wild horses on the island  The Okefenokee Swamp is a beautiful place.  We do have some higher elevation and fall color. This is atop Brasstown Bald in North Georgia.  Savannah, Ga. of Forrest Gump fame....  Downtown Atlanta.  There is so much more to share but I will stop for now...... Katniss~~ |
