Getting together with a bunch of my cousins this weekend at a lake we used to meet up at when we were kids. Except now we all have kids and are organizing the gathering for them, and our parents. It's nice.
A busy work week. I love my job. Busy is good. Seeing the new play my daughter is working on. Double cast- too many kids showed up, so she'll be on stage crew for one performance (her favorite place to be) and on stage for the second performance (she's learning to step into this) Fall nights. |

Reunion with my cousins and all of our kids this weekend! Back at a lake we went to often when we were kids.
Except for now we all have kids. We will be outnumbered by our kids. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. Sunday, a quiet Sunday after the reunion. Me and my guy and a bottle of wine and a scrabble board. What more could a girl want? School starting for my daughter. We homeschool, so it's not like she'll be out of the house, but we both miss the structure. And she has a really cool internship at a theater that she can't wait for. |
