Hey all!
Just got home - a visit with a friend went on a bit longer than originally planned. He was able to "delegate" work on Friday so I stayed another night. Lots of fun just hanging out with old friends.

Other than that - not a lot going on.

Hello Raising! You're where I was 20 years ago I believe. I too have twins. They are identical boys, 23 years old now that I adopted at birth.

It certainly wasn't easy when they were very young however, now as adults, (they'll always be my babies, no matter how old they get) it's even more of a challenge.

More backstory, came out late - my children were in their teens.

Very recently split with my g/f of four years. Dating someone who wants to stay in the closet, per se, isn't something I'd suggest to anyone.

Never insisted that she march in the streets donned in nothing but rainbows. In fact, quite the opposite, just wanted her to be happy. Kept myself from the local LGBT community because she works with a good bit of the "L" portion and she was afraid of anyone finding out. Her Mom retired from the same place she works. Can't have Mom finding out.

That's from my perspective, based on my own personal experience.

So, working on sorting life in general and where I fit in. Moving on, making friends and trying to get out of this emotional quicksand. It's driving me nuts.

Generally stay busy a lot with community theater and chorus. It helps some.

Think I might go clean the spare bedroom and box up winter clothes. Can't sleep, might as well.

no the funds will not allow...i have to go to upstate ny...and then i am supposed to visit sc in sept and in between i am expecting company in agust...for a brief visit...so my year is pretty well planned...although i would love to go...

MS..if u ever get over my way theire is a waffle house on the I20 and old Minden rd. exit in Bossier..give a holla and I will buy u breakfast or lunch,dinner of ur choice, unless u would rather go to Shoneys wich is only a block down the road and im still buying.
Today its a rainy cloudy day,the temp is in the 60's.Not shure what im going to do today but always come up with something.

MS..yes, there is a really great place to get catfish and gumbo,qcctualy several places but Ralph and Kacoco's is colsest and the best for Louisiana cooking,just down the road from the waffle house bout a mile.
