OMG a Federal Court Judge just ruled that Utah's ban on marriage is unconstitutional!! The case will now go before the 10th District Court of appeals ( which is a bit more conservative), before the ban can be overturned.
Are there pigs flying today or what? |

The court building is a buzz
Standing in a very massive line at the salt lake county courthouse. Waiting with thousands of others. This place is a buzz with cheer, happiness and beauty. It's a wonderful day in Utah. Today I will marry my love. .

December 16, 2013 "I am pleased to announce that, effective today, Social Security is processing some widow’s and widower’s claims by surviving members of same-sex marriages and paying benefits where they are due. In addition, we are able to pay some one-time lump sum death benefit claims to surviving same-sex spouses. The courts in Arkansas did not dismiss the case against the ban on same sex marriages. We are waiting for a trial date to be given. This is definitely prigress for Arkansas
