Lots of sunshine and blue skies.
very happy pets and farm critters
lots of happy wild birdies and twitterpaited squirrels.
not living in the city...no pressures of the city

smiling because I'm thankful for living in such a beautiful place
there's a sharp chill to the air but this is perfect for sitting quietly on the deck with hot coffee giving contrast to the cold...being very still to bird watch because I've been delighted to find rare birdies I've never seen before ...and was thrilled last night to hear that our Killdeer are back. Hopefully they will hatch lots of sweet babies this year. I sure have missed them the past 2 years.

Toyota frustrated me (car makers in general do because they don't make anything easy anymore) but they didn't get the best of me....
I smiled at my accomplishment of figuring out a weird mechanical issue after looking at a very poor illustration that didn't help much....when I finally got everything back together and it worked...I smiled big because I haven't lost my touch. Then I smiled because I kept my roomie from popping vein.
