my daughter moved in last week and I am organizing the house...again...
last nite I tried to organize the kitchen a little and I set up her keurig and put my coffee pot away...the plumber came and unclogged her bathtub... I cleaned her bathroom (I have never seen so many hair products in my life) I gave her an entire shelf of the linen closet for her beauty supplies...I think her bathroom is now useable and she does not have to use mine  I cleaned my bathroom, and my bedroom...then I headed to the living room...which has not been touched since Christmas... so I will explain...my gf of 7 years left the day after Christmas...so the Christmas tree got dismantled and all the totes were left in the living room...until today... the Christmas totes (4 of them) and wrapping paper and various Christmas decorations and ribbon got moved to the garage or closet space or under the bed...I had been avoiding this task for various reasons... the living room got vacuumed and dusted and is ready for my daughter to use it for a tv room or whatever... it feels good to move on...but its a little scary (its been a very exhausting 2 weeks but I trust god has a plan) |

Got up early...
On on vacation! Been driving thru the country filled with wild flowers. Having a concert in my car. Lol.. Time to stop for a treat...sweet potato fries. Been driving for more than have the day. .and im STILL in Texas. Feel like this accomplishment is taking a long time....

As well as the usual daily life sustaining stuffs...
De-cluttered the cupboard under the stairs of all the stuff that escaped the last de-cluttering. 2 bags of it! How? I didn't know there was 2 bags worth in there.  Took both bags to the Oxfam collection point before I succumbed to the temptation of retrieving shoes.

Today I had a later start time at work so I...
Got an hour workout in...instead of 30 minutes... Did 2 loads of wash and hung them to dry OUTSIDE ( )Prepped for dinner tonight (cooked rice and cut up the pineapple) Cleaned the kitchen counters Took the dogs out x2 Started reading Walden

I accomplished doing laundry; having lunch with Ruff and our roommate; vacuuming out my car from our trip to New Orleans; picked up a few things from the grocery store and cleaned the bathroom.

Tilled up a few rows in the garden, planted some veggies, put netting over the top of the guenia pen. Hope to tiller up another row or two this afternoon and plant some pinkeye purple hull peas.

Cleaned the whole house including bathrooms. Threw out some stuff I don't need, started laundry, folded and put away all my sweaters, did a little cleaning in the basement and rearranged the office. I'm beat

Accomplished today
I got the big mower out for the first time this spring so I had to conduct basic maintenance before mowing and I mowed about 3 acres today.
I cooked beans, rice and sausage for my dinner and lunches. I cleaned house, did laundry, took out the trash, and cleaned the kitchen. I am a messy cook. Talked to my sweetheart and planned upcoming adventures. FUN! And now I need to get everything ready for the work week. |
