Lots of reasons to smile this morning....
I stopped in at Starbucks this morning for a chai tea. The place was a zoo, and I guess they skipped my drink. I didn't even realize because the perkiest barista I have ever encountered was busily chatting away with me while she worked, lol.
Then when she made mine, she slipped me a voucher for a free drink with "We're sorry your experience wasn't that great. Please enjoy a complimentary drink on us for your next visit" or something to that effect printed on it. So now I get a free drink next time I want one and I didn't even complain or insinuate that I was unhappy in any way. lol, so maybe I belong in the bitchy resting face thread instead of this one? But yay! Plus the ride home from work with the lid off beneath the beautiful sunny skies is always really nice! Annnnd...a 3 day weekend. Now if I can just get through one more night of work, all will be great! |

seeing two sisters who won a $13,000 scholarship each from my company...their mother and grandmother (both co workers) were understandably very proud..one sister won 2 years ago and the other sister won this year...so amazing to see good things happen to nice people
