Im taking my niece and nephew for a hike at Quabbin reservoir today after work...
 this reservoir has thousands of acres...miles of trails....its where I kinda got lost not long back....lol

I now live within 45 minutes to an hour of:
The Smoky Mountains Pisgah National Forest (this is actually about 20 minutes away) Nantahala National Forest DuPont State Park Cherokee National Forest Needless to say...much hiking will ensue I will be posting here a lot...and with my new phone, the pics should be amazing

These places are fantastic to see,I use to hike hear but over the years snakes,bugs both flying and crawling and ticks have gotten so bad I quit going.

 Yes I love hiking too, in summer or winter or whenever, through forests or up hills or wherever. There's so much to see and so little time. I'm about to head off for 2 weeks hiking across Spain. I'm planning to take a lot of pics. I love everyone's photos on here, they're so beautiful and I can almost imagine being there . Keep them coming. xx |
