 When I spent the night at my Granny's house, on my side of the bed , she had framed pictures of ballerinas. I would lay there and dream of wearing frilly skirts, being graceful, and pretty pink satin shoes. This artist takes me right back there.

When I was a teen I would come into NYC each weekend to take art lessons at the Museum of Modern Art (not talented but interested) and after class, my friend and I would go into the museum. I remember a Marc Chagal exhibit with paintings and stained glass. It was awe inspiring. |

the other painting that fascinated my for some reason was Picasso's Guernica.

pre-kids, I used to collect outsider art. Jimmy Lee Sudduth was one of my favorites. I have one of his Statute of Liberty Paintings that my ex wants to sell, over my dead body...the guy is in the Smithsonian. My colors are more vibrants but he was amazing
