I joined a local hiking group and today I'm going on my first ever hike with them. I am anxious to learn some good hiking spots in the area.
Today our hike is a 6.5 mile trek along the river. The French Broad I assume. I am looking forward to meeting some nice local people with similar interests as mine.

September 1st!
As of then I am employed well over full time by my agency. They called today to tell me they had a client for me. ONE client. Full time. Awesomeness! It's 52 hours a week AND I have weekends off AND I get time and a half until the new laws go into affect The employment gods have finally smiled down on me...
