The folks over at Lifehacker have hired a developer to build extensions and their first one is for Netflix on Chrome.

It looks promising and I'm tinkering with it now although of course a couple of obvious-to-me features are still not there, but it's a good start. It's called Flix Plus and you can read about it here.

It's not Netflix but if you access http://www.tubeplus.me/player/119082...ode_1/Serious/ you'll find Not Going Out. Current Brit tv humour. I love it. It's written by Lee Mack, the northern dude in the show, and has some fab one-liners.
