I was thinking about the Queen of New Orleans Sophia the other day. I hope they give her a longer story line, she was kinda interesting. I am def going to miss Maryann though, and yeah id def end up being a lotus eater lol

I'm not a big fan of the books.
They have all that corny, cringe-worthy writing that I hate about that genre. The series seems to have picked up an edginess that the books definitely lack.

I was pleasantly surprised by Evan Rachel Wood as Queen Sophie. I think she did a great job and I hope they decide to continue with her.

I love this show. I need a 12-step program to help maintain my sanity til June 2010.

I'm liking Eric more, but I miss the longer hair.

I absolutely love how Bill says Sookie.

Lafayette is my favorite and Tara works my last Femme nerve.

I miss the grandmother.

Just seeing the big pig made me crack up.

i have not watched true blood, but i was mad about alan ball and his work on six feet under. the library had every episode of six feet under, so i'll keep my eyes open for true blood.

I have read all the books and want to order the one with the short stories. I have not been this into a series since early Anne Rice!

I love Eric, in fact one of my favorite parts was when he had hair color in while killing people in the dungeon!

Tara is HOT!

Jason reminds me of George W, but way better looking.

Lafayette cracks me UP! Season 1 especially.

I hated Maryanne and was glad to see her go. What a great death scene!

I like Jessica, I think she is beautiful.

Sookie? some days yes, some days no.

I can't wait to see how Season 3! There are so many directions they could go.

I'm actually crushing on Jessica. Just something about her innocence at the beginning and now she's turned into a bad girl just roaming about, especially when Bill isn't around to babysit her. This new season should be interesting...

i am not a huge fan. i own the first season (got it on sale) and watched it once. i saw a few later ones on HBO, and i agree re Maryann -- i would have followed her anywhere. i agree that the brother is a huge source of humor. i also like the gay guy who used to traffic in vampire blood. Sam not so much. He so reminds me of the sensitive new age country boys i grew up with. The lead singer in the band type. Been there and done that. And somehow no longer have ANY interest in that -- male or female version.

I LOVE True Blood. Got the DVR set but I'll be watching it live anyway. Read all 10 books, and I've seen every episode (more than once). I love Eric.

Really curious to see what parts of the books they'll use this season, its great that you can read the books and still not know wtf is going to happen - Allen Ball really blow out the parts he likes and gives them more meat, and gets rid of the pure cheese that the books sometimes have. (not great literature for sure :>)

I could just watch the opening credits over and over, so sleazy and dirty and sexy.

I have conflicting feelings about Jessica. I kinda dig her character...but her being in the show is weird for me since she was not in the books. There wasn't even a character in the books that could have been someone altered to be Jessica in the show.

I am -really- excited about seeing Alcide this season. Hot hot hot!
