What do you feel "too old" for?

Same. Which is a shame because sometimes I actually want something from a Hot Topic (I am trash) but I'm turning 30 in less than two weeks and I'm not sure it's legal for me to enter a Hot Topic anymore. (At least they have online ordering these days.)

Something else I'm too old for: getting emotionally invested in fictional relationships and then worrying about whether these gals will ever get out of Subtext Hell or if I'm biting down on queer bait again.

I'm 42 and I shop at Hot Topic. I guess I'm trash, too.

I never got the memo that at a specific age you quit expressing yourself the way you choose to. I actually got a reminder that my Hot Cash can be redeemed starting Wednesday. 😉

I'm 42 and I still shop there. Though now it's twice as costly since my teenager is shopping there with me. I got the call about the hot cash too- not that I remember where I put it. Can they pull it up by phone number? I *love* that they called to remind. I get so annoyed when I find "cash" from other stores with mystical dates that have passed.

Happily, if this is the only thing I can think of that I'm "too old" for, I must be doing pretty good.

Unhappily, I've been thinking about this for about a week, so clearly it bothers me, probably more than it should.

Nah...it ain't a thang. If you wanna wear metallic eye shadow, i think you're old enough to wear a little makeup (lol...reference to my teen years).

I'm 55 and can still pass for someone in their thirties and can get away with shorter dresses...although I don't shop at Hot Topic. Lulu's (online) has some really nice outfits.

Work! I'm getting to old to work so many hours and not enjoy it and to tired to enjoy the rest of my life. Which isn't much when you consider I'm gone about 14 hrs a day, then ya have to eat, sleep and bathe.

No doubt it wasn't at all the appropriate response, but the comment about glittery eyeshadow and crows feet made me laugh out loud. I mean no offense when I say it is such a mix of pathos and humor.

Regarding what I'm now too old for, for some weird reason I feel as though I have finally reached an age where I'm not too old for anything. It's probably not the wisest thing.
