Hi. I have very recently...partially came out of the closet so I am trying to throw myself out here and there. I want to make friends, meet great people and maybe even start a relationship.

Hoping to one day fully come out of the closet but with my parents...it hasnt been easy. I am going to for sure, probably sometime this year.

I joined Butch Femme Planet to meet some like-minded people. To be honest, I am just really embracing that I am, in fact, butch.

I guess when I was younger, and first coming out, I had a different idea of what "being butch" meant. And not in a good way.

But recently I have accepted that I am butch. And that it's okay. It's a part of who I am. Something that is natural, innate to me.

Anyway, it's great to meet you all. I look forward to being a part of the community and exploring.

I remember when I first told my lesbians friends that I was Butch, they laughed at me so that went back into the closet until I found my first femme and the flood gates opened and I heard harps and the rest was history.

You'll meet a lot of great people here and like you said, the need for like minded people is something we all crave, which is why most of us are here. Enjoy!
