Waking up toasty in my bed...with the kitten purring and Jacques sound asleep beside me....
The sun making a slow crawl over the mountains to kiss us all awake... The birds singing outside even though the morning is very cold.... A much looked forward to walk later...I will be happy to see my old haunts...

Starting my day by listening to Buddhist chanting and feeling the most sublime sense of well-being, happiness, and calm arise within me.

The crisp clean air when I took Gracie out this morning with the snow just starting to fall and a neighbor outside with her dog telling me how well behaved and beautiful our GracieLoo is
 Also knowing that tomorrow I get to go to The Gooses school for a award ceremony she is getting a Academic Achievement award again. she has gotten one every year at school except last year ( and trust me I wondered why) and this year they have made it harder but she still rocked it and we am wicked proud of her

I wore my New England Patriots sweatshirt hiking today, & I couldn't believe how many people congratulated us on the win....
Also...running into sooo many nice dog owners on the trail...we got to see a pretty black boxer and a gorgeous bassett hound...amongst others...
