I know a certain physical type turns my head, almost in a reflexive way.

I walked by an eyewear boutique last week and caught a glimpse of a woman who turned my head in that way. Without even thinking, I peeled off and walked into the shop.

I started browsing the frames, watching her from the corner of my eye.

She was talking loudly to the person who worked there, and kept saying "my wife" in her comments. She said it three times.

It's like she was warding me off. I just smiled to myself.
