Hey everyone.

I'm Gina. Most people call me G. I live in the suburbs of Chicago. I'm an engineer. I like to read. I play too many video games. I have a hound dog named Ernie.

I joined Butch Femme Planet to meet some like-minded people. To be honest, I am just really embracing that I am, in fact, butch.

I guess when I was younger, and first coming out, I had a different idea of what "being butch" meant. And not in a good way.

But recently I have accepted that I am butch. And that it's okay. It's a part of who I am. Something that is natural, innate to me.

Anyway, it's great to meet you all. I look forward to being a part of the community and exploring.

Hi G! Welcome to the planet and welcome to your new found Butchness! What an exciting time! I remember when I first told my lesbians friends that I was Butch, they laughed at me so that went back into the closet until I found my first femme and the flood gates opened and I heard harps and the rest was history.

You'll meet a lot of great people here and like you said, the need for like minded people is something we all crave, which is why most of us are here. Enjoy!

Hi homoe. Thanks for the welcome. It's funny that you should say that about Chicago, because Seattle is my favorite city. Lived out there for 13 weeks a few summers ago and absolutely loved it.

Welcome to the Planet to all the new peeps that found us here. I hope you find yourselves welcomed and enjoy the forums here to read. There is tons of stuff about coming out stories and what it means to individuals to be butch or femme and trans, etc just to name a few ID's that are here on this site. This is not just a lesbian site so you know and understand that there are many other ID's here. There's tons of forums on different subjects and all kinds of stuff to read. We even have a chat room for us to talk in and get to know one another and have fun and make friends.
