I did not actually "buy" today. However, I did some pre-shopping and price comparing on some major things.
Tomorrow will be shopping day!!! (disclaimer: There might be a lot of angels singing in high pitched tones while I do this - all should cover their ears) I shall post aforementioned pre-shopping things tomorrow. |

I bought a movie ticket and a bag of popcorn. I saw the Argentinian film "Wild Tales" (Relatos Salvajes)...it was wonderful, just great. Best I've seen in years.

My vacuum needed a new belt, at least that is what my son told me it needed, since he used it last and I sorely wanted to believe him.
*ahem* So...., after a very long shopping trip to find a place that sold a belt to fit my very old vacuum, I bought the belt, gleeful that the vacuum would finally work. got home, put the belt on and in seconds it broke again. Not willing to take "NO" from the vacuum, I tore it apart again, found out what my son did to the vacuum (it wasn't pretty) and got it working without a belt. My belt-less vacuum is healed perfectly now, lol.

My Office Max is closing, so things are up to 60% off. I needed packing tape..so I went a browsing. Packing tape, check. Twenty dollar iPad screen protector, four bucks, check. All together I spent, $8.00. Ok, then there was gas for my car @ $2.12 a gallon. A few things were gathered from the grocery store, $9.00. Smiling.
