Smiling...my mom calls me right after she is released from the hospital, concerned if I was flooded.
It rained for over 8 hours here. It was not a peaceful night at all. Lighting, thunder, hard steady rain, weather alerts every 30 min on the phone. Flood watch, flood warning, tornado watch, lighting strike locations..not much sleep. It was interesting, that one cat sat at the window and watched, the other two,hiding! Lol

I just signed up for a beading class on Friday. I'm so excited! If I like it, maybe I'll take some more until I get the hang of it and can make pretty sparkly stuff on my own. And in addition to adorning myself, it will be really nice to know how to do that so I make gifts for friends, too. Yay!

A random conversation with a stranger at the grocery store about Bush's baked beans. I was not even anywhere near the bean aisle, so it was very random. Apparently they make a really good new hickory flavored can of beans. Delicious straight out of the can she said.
