My latest addiction is a new found jar of "Barcelona's Nogada Walnut Sauce."
Here is what is listed for ingredients: Water, tomatoes, raisins, apricots, sunflower seeds, onion, parsley, salt, lemon juice, garlic, dried chili pods, cinnamon, oregano, star anise and organic rose petals. Notice not one mention of use of walnuts. But a disclaimer directly below states that there could be nut products --- peanuts and/or nut products. To me, it tastes like a Thai sauce. I use it on pasta or ice cream. I love it. : )
