Only solid I had today was dinner. Bought half of an amazing cheesesteak. It had lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pepperoncini rings, mushrooms, and green peppers. I was stuffed! The really great news is that I am still losing. I stepped on the scale at the doctor's office when I went for pulmonary testing. Life. Is. Good.

I had dinner out with a friend this evening, and ordered a prime rib cobb salad with a balsamic vinaigrette. It was HUGE, but also delicious! I had unsweetened iced tea for my beverage.

Oatmeal cooked on the stove top, a pinch of salt, a spoonful of light brown sugar and milk to swim the oats in!!
Sometimes, when it is this cold and blustery there is nothing as satisfying as a steaming hot bowl of oatmeal to warm me through and through. Just what I wanted for dinner. *looking for raisins*

I am making chicken breasts in the crock pot. I am seasoning them with half chicken broth, half water, garlic powder, crushed red pepper and a zesty herb marinade. I am also making a cup of rice and peas to go with my chicken. Tomorrow I will be having hamburgers with cheese and black beans.

Leftovers from lunch:
Jerk chicken, vegetables sauteed in a creamy tomato chipoltle sauce, basmati rice and seasoned black beans with a side of their version of pico de gallo...which was very colorful with yellow peppers thrown in it....very tasty. Oh and I cannot forget the "natty" bread. Its garlic toast and its the best thing ever.... Anyone who visits Asheville, do not miss Nine Mile restaurant on Montford Ave!

I made some hamburgers on the George Forman grill with some sautéed mushrooms, onions, lettuce, pickles on potatoe rolls. I shoulda had mine on a low carb wrap but I kinda sorta slipped and fell off my low carb diet......
 I'm not stressing over it though.
