What are you having for dinner tonight? - Page 1341

Today I cooked New England boiled dinner which consists of:

Pork roast
Cabbage
Onion
Carrots
Potatoes
Celery

I was brought up with us cooking at all day but I throw it in the pressure cooker and cook it for just a little over an hour and it is absolutely delicious

What every self respecting Texan has on New Years Day; black eyed peas {i make mine very thick} and cornbread {i like mine very sweet}. A little cranberry & gingerale virgin cocktail and then cheesecake to sweeten the deal. Perfect.

Collard greens (slow simmered all day)
Cornbread
Pan fried ham
Baked sweet potato

Of course the veggies were cooked with ham hocks.

Today's menu is pork loin roast done in the slow cooker while I was doing job 1, and green beans and brussel spouts with a mushroom gravy.. to be consumed while doing job 2.
