I had a huge salad with romaine, fat free mozzerella, walnuts, fresh ginormous mushrooms and Berry Delight dressing. It was yummirific and would have been completely healthy with my flavored water if I hadn't sat next to the box of Sunday donuts.

Stoveless in New York City!
Well, whatever I am having will have to be cold, they are taking out my stove today and I might not get a stove until Wednesday or Thursday! Tonight is NYC Queer Knitting, so I will have something delicious at Whole Foods, but I dread waking up tomorrow morning with no coffee (I make mine in my Italian espresso macchinetta, on the stove top)! This is when I wish I had my electric espresso maker (It's in my classroom!)
Oh! Well! There is a nice little café (The Victory) at the corner of my block! Elle*, making do!

Chilled potato leek soup, a watermelon agua fresca (at 5pm at my local café), and then grilled eel on brown rice later at the sushi bar in Whole Foods, followed by a fresh ginger gingerale/jasmine tea. And I finished the sock I was working on! On to sock #2!
