I can't believe how lazy some people can be. At work today someone opened a new ream of paper and instead of walking just 5 feet to the paper can, they just tossed the wrapper on the floor. It pisses me off when they think "let someone else pick it up". So what pissed YOU off today???? |

Yanno, I rarely get seriously pissed. Like... maybe once or twice a year. Today, though, was one of those days!!! Grrrr.

Ive never posted on this thread but first for everything huh I am ticked off bc I get to have my second knee replacement on my left knee . My first knee scope was 15 , then two scopes and a reconstruction at 16 , a reconstruction which failed and a knee replacement at 17 years old . They are only good for x numbers of years and after 5 days of working two jobs and being a bad neglectful RN to myself , I saw the orthopedic surgeon today and got my CT and Xrays and was called 15 minutes ago with " Blake do you want the good news or bad news first " ? Well doc, what's the good news ? The good news is.... You get a long vacation and aren't working 2 jobs for many weeks !!!! Well shit, that's actually bad news doc so what's the other bad news ? " well its bad , to say the least , you need a whole new hardware and I will be doing a total knee replacement after a week of steroids to get the fluid down by half " . So doc, would you like to call my wife for me while she is at work and explain why we won't be vacationing in Baltimore inner harbor in a few weeks????? " laughing , that sounds like a spouse job Blake , good luck with that though "

This goofy company I was going to work for having me drive 1.5 hours for training only to do a 1.5 hour training session. If it was worth while no problem, but literally all I did was listen to some F'ing dou%%e bag use acronyms like JUICE (Join Us In Creating Enthusiasm) and watch another Hemorrhoid write sentences on the board rather than write simple notes and outlines to summarize. I think I developed a tremor and twitch from watching this guy take the whole time writing out every single word he was thinking. Les Miserables would have taken less time to jot down on marker board!!!!

The same thing that pisses me off every time I hear it. Not using person first language. A person 'is' not their mental illness, they 'have' it. BIG difference. One of my colleagues did it the other day and I had to correct her, she should know better, working in mental health and all. And she gave me attitude. Then I just heard it on the news. Argh. I'm easily irked today.

In other news, kudzu is roughly $8 a pound in WA. At least it was 4.5 years ago. I was shocked and seriously contemplated having friends back home go get some and ship it to me so I could sell it to the folks out there that put it on their salads. .gif)
