Nuked 3 eggrolls - the type that come out of the cardboard box from the freezer ... they weren't too interesting but I am full enough and that was the purpose anyway. Drank a Coke with them.

I had a bunch of mushrooms to use up, so I simmered chicken thighs, took them out of the broth, added all the mushrooms and brown rice. Cleaned the chicken, and now it's just yum!

I burned close to 600 calories on the treadmill today, so I splurged on a Boca burger, 2 waffle fries (stolen off the kiddo's plate), a handful of dill pickle chips, and one Keebler mint creme cookie...hehehe

We celebrated a friend's birthday last night at Landry's at Kemah Boardwalk. I had...

parmesean crusted tilapia, with lumpmeat crab & honey butter sauce on top
rice pilaf
grilled asparagus
and for dessert ~ creme brulee'

Tonight's dinner will be started in the crockpot around lunchtime...

beef tips with fresh mushrooms and a brown gravy
served over egg noodles
and fresh green beans

A whole veg dinner. The older I get, the better they taste. I wanted to go out for sugar last nite. I was able to talk myself into trying a recipe from a Dr. Oz show. I made it last nite. It is really good and No Cooking.

1 cup uncooked steel cut oats
1/2 cup p-nut or whatever butter(I chose almond butter)
1/3 cup tart cherries
3tblsp honey
1 teasp vanilla

Mix, refrig, cut into squares, yum
