Dinner tonight was half a cantaloupe, a tavern ham and swiss cheese on wheat bread with butter and mustard and a handful of bbq chips. As a matter of fact other than ice cream tonight that was all I ate all day.

Homemade sloppy joes on hawaian sweet bread hamburger buns. I replaced green peppers with hatch hot peppers. Super tasty I say!

Pulled some baked beans together with extra bacon.

Ok, store bought macaroni salad.

Tonight I made home made from scratch chicken enchiladas and cheese enchiladas,
mexican rice, refried beans, and a garden salad. My roommates loved it!

I had put ribs in the oven, wrapped up, @ 275 for 3 hours. Can I just say...fall off the bone delish.

Since I broke a crown, I thought cutting the corn off the Cobb and roasting it was a better idea. That topped a spinach/romain, tomato,avocado salad.

Pure summer bliss dinner, I might add!

I made my daughter branch out and "cook" something new...

We had one of those frozen dinner meals in a bag; chicken stir fry. Not great but she did a good job.

Then she made salted caramel brownies for dessert....and strawberry banana smoothies after that lol

went swimming and then had a yen for a good pastrami sandwich. Went to a good Jewish deli and had pastrami on rye, took home a kasha knish and some homemade Jewish pastry: rugelach. mmmm. ate 1/2 the sandwich, going to eat other half now. hahaha

Made green curry with coconut milk, chicken and lots of veggies (fresh broccoli, orange/green bells, red onion, orange carrots, snap peas, eggplant, zucchini). We'll enjoy it over some white rice.

Oops...forgot I had bacon/cheddar burgers to smoke. Except a rain storm made that impossible, so have them in oven now.

Will make this fish in crazy water at some point, soon, though. It sounds divine, and can be adapted to one's tastes specifically!!!
