If your anywhere near the Kearne's neighborhood, an interesting neck of the woods, stop by Allport Editions. They're a greeting card business that's been in business since the early 1980s, and they design all kinds of cards via the art of Indie artists.

I've reserved lodging for my stays in Seattle at this charming and unique location. BONUS: Should you need nursing or doctors care, the hospital is right there. In fact, I learned that thus place was a place provided for people to stay who might have a loved one in an emergency extended hospital stay, situation. It's lovely. There is an high presence of security and professional medical personnel.

If you want to have a nice little picnic lunch down by the gazebo, stop into Town and Country Market at 343 Winslow Way E! Cheese, grapes, bread, hot deli foods, they have it all plus a great selection of wines and beer!

If you're ever in the Seattle-Tacoma area, be sure to drop by the Bridge of Glass, which connects to the Glass Museum, and to other cultural exhibits in the area. Dale Chihuly is a legendary glass blowing artist, and his exhibits are breath-takingly gorgeous.

If you ever find yourself in southern Oregon, here is a great place to stop to eat a wonderful homemade meal or have a fabulous slice of pie. It's located on Hwy 62, in a tiny town called Prospect, Oregon. It's near Crater Lake, Diamond Lake, and if you talk with locals, you can be given directions on how to find natural hot springs locations, nearby.

My favorite place to stay at the coast is The Purple Moon Inn.

It's close by to Chinook Winds Casino, and sits on the north end of the coastal community in Lincoln City, Oregon.

There are 3 suites. I've stayed in each one, they're simply beautiful and very charming. There are lots of places to shop for local art, kites, smoked salmon, and it's also home to Mo's Seafood & Chowder Restaurant..... very yummy food....which, Mo's sits on the southerly side of town, down by Siletz Bay. On any day, you can watch sea lions basking across the inlet and hear the pounding ocean surf.
