I ordered Chinese food delivery because I AM EXHAUSTED! Shortage at work means all I do lately is work, eat, and sleep.

I had a sandwich with dill pickles, Bacon and Cheddar Cheez-Its and flavored water. It's too hot for anything that requires heat.

My son took his girlfriend and I out to Red Lobster to celebrate his first yearly raise – He already got a bit of one at six months so he wasn't expecting a lot, but it wasn't too shabby so plenty to celebrate. I had the Coconut Shrimp, fries, a Caesar side salad and a Piña Colada with just a teeny splash of alcohol in it. It also had some sort of strawberry slushy something decorating the top. Not sure what, but very good. There was enough left over for each of us to have a second meal so no dessert. I reget having eatten that much. I'll have to waddle to bed, but for now I'm too stuffed to lie down.

I made rice pilaf with halibut and asparagus and then we felt like meh about it and made turkey avocado cheddar wraps instead

It will make for good leftovers for another meal.

I finally gave into my curiosity and tried Halo Top (lemon cake) and it was delish. Toasted coconut sounds like my cuppa.

For dinner, I had fresh fruit (pineapple and cantaloupe) with the last of the smoked sausage concoction I made a few days ago and then I went off the rails and had a Friendly's single serve sundae thingy. It was okay. Too chocolately for my taste but I still ate it.

Ice cream is a terrible thing to waste.
