Yippee, it's soup kitchen day! Each week we get Tuesday and Wednesday night dinners from the local soup kitchen.

You never know what you'll get; my Partner and I trade food, so she gets all the meat (along with the fur-babies) and I get what is vegan.

We all stare at items with dairy until it finally gets devoured by me.

The past few evenings, smoking some 'Divine Gelato' comes first, which then leads to pigging out on coconut macaroons (Poppies) and chocolate covered raisins. I eat a heavy protein breakfast super early (4 egg omelet), then lunch on veggies and "ghost pepper " sauce from Wendy's, then by the time I get home it's time for dessert. (lol)

All this trout and salmon and cod (which I had tonight) comes from the local fish market. I can give you the addy if you want to order some LOL. I am glad there is lots as this is my main food. I also have striploin steak (tomorrows) and chicken. You can also get chicken, duck and geese from the local poultry farmer. Once in a while I have pork chop or hamburger.

For breakfast I have Crispex cereal with milk and wild blueberries *frozen. A blueberry muffin (usually) or toasted English muffin with different jams. Coffee.

Impossible burger with bacon, lettuce, onion slice, bacon strips, & avocado with crispy fried green beans (from the air fryer).

Since I was gifted my Chefman air fryer for our 1 year anniversary, I have been using it most every day! WE LOVE IT!!

So much so, we are going to take it in our next camping trip in June!!!

Well, dinner in theory was a great idea! However, it was 75% failure. Blah!

Spring green salad with great veggies and avocado. Topped with shrimp with sweet vidalia onion dressing. A side of smokey gouda mac and cheese.

Failure #1... as I was grinding my peppercorns, the top came off with a big old down pour of peppercorns. Yeah, only on my salad. I picked peppercorns out and probably swallowed some whole ones.

Failure #2...the shrimp was mushy. I ate it thinking it was just old or maybe freezer burn.
It was raw! Well, duh. Hence the texture. Sushi salad it was!

My Mom brought me out shortbread cookies to make it better. Lol!!

Oh well there will be other failures cause not everything goes in your favor.

Carefully measured small portion of raisins. Buttered saltine crackers with slices of cheddar cheese. 4% cottage cheese with a sprinkle of black pepper. If sugars are good latter then I'll have an Outshine watermelon juice bar for dessert. If not then some Minute Maid zero sugar lemonade.
