What's Happening in Austin

Ya know? I'm just gonna go out on a limb here and change the Welcome To Austin, Gemmie Gathering to Wednesday.....it seems rather ridiculous to me that the 2 people Gemmie cares about the most can't be there if we have it on Monday......

So I'm making an executive decision to move it to Wednesday, Sept. 15th at 7 PM.

Austin, the Austin Museum of Art has a new exhibit. It's only $5 to get in (unless you are a member then it's free). Maggie and I went today then had lunch afterwards.

We talked about all of you the exhibit. Here is a link to the artist's on Wiki. Pretty interesting stuff.

Unfortunately the Fuzz does have an earlier bed time than most of us. And in the hopes of avoiding CCS (Cranky Child Syndrome) which in turn leads to CAS (Cranky Adults Syndrome), we will have to pass on Trudy's.

Yay for Hurricane Hermine. I had to park in the Back 40 at work this morning. At lunch just now (I take a late lunch), it was POURING. I walked to my car ... or is that swam? I had to change clothes when I got home--from the skin up. OH MY GODS that was fun!

My co-worker laughed at me for jumping in the puddles. hee
