Well, aren't y'all a chatty bunch!

First off, a HUGE 'Thanks' to everyone who has shown up to give some love to our little endeavor. Things might be a little wonky in a few spots but we will drink as much coffee as it takes to get this place in good shape.

I received a PM asking about a certain function and realized that we probably need a thread for issues and such. So here it is!
We will do our best to answer questions in a timely manner and make some magic

List
1. Financials Page - (this might be ugly for a bit but as long as its accurate, right?)
2. Youtube embedding
3. Banners for Subscription Users

Again, thanks for all of your patience, your love, and mostly your belief in the vision.

"Pulling an Irish" indeed! Naughty, Naughty!

For any of you wanting to post a Youtube, I've just installed a mod that allows us to just put in the URL and thats it.
No embedding required.

So just go to Youtube, select your video and put in the URL like normal:

www.you tube.com/blablahblah

and your video will automatically appear.

*waves hand* Oh, oh.. I have an issue: please move from your present provider (GoDaddy) to a provider who actually has a clue on how to handle load. I actually got a SQL Error this morning and "slowness" (this is a horrible relative term but a site this new and this small shouldn't be experiencing either issue).

Oh Linus, if you only knew!

They actually suggested last night at 3am when I was the ONLY person on the site and got a "dropped connection" that we needed to upgrade to a DEDICATED SERVER to "handle the number of queries".

So yes, I hear you. Loud and clear!

I have a friend who hosted their blog (a blog no less with far less complexity than a forum) on GoDaddy and it sucked even for that! Anyways, if you need help or ideas, just ping me.

ETA: I forgot.. who are the mods? (so I know who not to really piss off) do they have special moddy kind of badges or other identifying thingies/widgets/whatzzits (you know those technical terms)?

This one is interesting. You should be able to friend any user here. Can you give me an example of a username you can't friend?

(I just realized that I hadn't answered your pm yesterda, forgive my flakery there!)

I just flipped the switch and you should be able to delete your photo now. Just let me know if you check it and there is anything not working!

I am definitely going to be hitting you up rather shortly to bounce some ideas around and get your input on some different options!

As far as mods, we will be making a formal announcement some time in the next few days, but informally:

We have 3 mods.

Dreadgeek, aka AJ, is our head moderator. June is also a moderator. We have a 3rd moderator as well, I just need to verify with that person that they want to moderate under their member name.

Chat is moderated by Scorp.

And I think you will see that we really *do* have some amazing moderators
