ok a year later and a lot wiser...
I want an intelligent, conscious human being who knows who they are without getting caught up in labels. Someone that enjoys the dynamic and makes me feel like I'm the only girl in the world. Someone that LOVES gardening and cooking. Someone's who's idea of a perfect day is sitting on the porch watching our fur babies play, watching and teaching grandkids about life. Someone that doesn't have to think about doing the right thing.. it just happens. Someone who wants to work at being healthy and strong enough to spend the rest of our golden years together.

I want someone who's honest, genuine, and old-fashioned. A woman who values love and communication above materialism and sex.
I want someone who is patient, kind, and respectful. Who doesn't smoke or use drugs, and either doesn't drink or only does so sporadically. Who will always be herself, despite what others think or say, and will never allow someone else to change them. Great posts, peeps...ALL of you!!!! Most of the things are qualities, traits, and attributes we are all looking for! As well as all the things listed in most of the posts here, at least for me, what is single most important is to believe in me, have faith, and when "issues" arise...be kind enough to talk with me....either by phone or in person, if possible....but at least talk with me....don't get mad and pull away! Or if you do need space & time....say so.....but to just dispel me....as if I am like yesterday's garbage....my feelings, my heart, my love, and my friendship shouldn't be so easily dispensable. I do wear my heart on my sleeve, I am sensitive, and I have feelings.....just my 2 cents!!! Carry on, peeps.....hugs to you all!!!

I really vary....
What I want right now, is not what I want soon and definitely not what I want for ever. Right now, I want to get my space and life together and think, read self help books, go to therapy extra and maybe try accupuncture. lol. Soon, however I will be looking for someone extremely cool, laid back, kind, funny, 420 friendly, laid back, calm, without anger, low maintenace, smart confident, laid back, positive, kinky, sexy, Toppy Butch who is polyamorous and not looking to take hostages. (and is really really cool and laid back) (and is not treatened by baby) Some day? Who knows what the future will bring? Life is ever changing. I can see trying settling down again some day.

I want trust, honor, loyalty, honesty, intellegence and laughter.
I want someone who sees me for who I am... beautiful, ugly, strong, weak.. Might not like all of me, but loves all of me and wouldn't change a thing. I want conversations that last for days I want to like someone so much that I have to go find them if I haven't seen them in twenty mins, just to see their face and say hi... I want someone secure enought to know that one day I will miss them and then the next day tell them to go away... I want the security of knowing that if I'm alive in twenty years, they are going to be charging up my rascal and finding my other shoe... I got lucky... or did I? In my journey to find the love of my life. (And yes, i'm still searching.) I have noticed that I want trust. I want us to keep no secrets from each other, as honesty creates some stability. I want her to be able to look at my flaws, and i look at hers and know the person hiding behind this wall of them is the person that is who they are in love with. Also, I want someone real. I've had way to many girls use me as a pawn in their game, or they were just fake. I want someone who has true emotions, and when she says them, it's what she really feels, and it's not a script. What I want…
I know that somewhere in the world is the perfect person for everyone. I truly do believe this and I know somewhere in this world there is the most handsome, kind, loving, understand, firm, myn who will love me for all of me. Hy may have parts of me that are not perfect in hys eyes however hy will know that those parts make me who I am. Hy will accept me, love me, and cherish me for the woman I am. Hy will laugh with me and hold me as I cry. Hy will dance with me in our socks in the middle of the kitchen just to be close. When the music stops we will continue to dance and not even notice. On a cool winter morning hy will want to snuggle close instead of worrying about putting more wood on the fire. When the spunky side of me peeks out a pillow fight with feathers flying along with laughter will fill the room. Hy will know when I need his help and when to allow me to take the steps needed while standing back and watching. Hy will be proud of my accomplishments and there to encourage me during my failures. Hy will know every secret about me and love me just the same. Hy will see my scars and ask about them. Hy will want to know why they are there and then gently kiss each one as if to erase the pain from years gone by. Hy will encourage me to be a better person and make better choices. I've found that quite a good way of finding the kind of person you want is online dating. Yes, I know, it has its downfalls, but really it's just a mixed bag like with meeting people in person. The beauty is that you get to know a lot about people (and have a good guess at whether they're suitable for you or not) just based on what they say on their profile. You don't have to waste time on entire dates screening people when a quick glance of their profile gives you a good indication of compatibility.
