Yes we certainly need to check all options , do you know when pride is this year? They had a big to do last oct on Caladesi for pride.. not sure where to search I was just checking it on web. Kellyschicaboom.com is what is in downtown dunedin, but I am not sure if pride will be downtown or the island..

It's downtown best source of info right now is the NorthPinellas Pride facebook. The website will be up and running very shortly. It is in downtown for the main event but I think there will be a beachday. The next comittee meeting is May 30th I believe at Besa Del Sol. It's expanding. Last year it was the weekend before St Pete Pride which is last saturday in June. This year they moved it to end of October to one not compete and two be more comfortable. I think they are thinking this way the GSAs can participate too and maybe no issues from the church group that tried to stone us out at Honeymoon.

With any luck yes I will be. I am even thinking of volunteering about it. Last year I was disappointed by the beachday but the parties at the hotel were cool and downtown was gayer then normal that Friday at Blur.

Welcome Mickman. This pride thing sounds good to me - October is a great time for it. I'm in Long Beach Cali right now for the Long Beach pride which is this week-end. My BFF's girlfriend is on the planning committee. She has been coming home exhausted every day with details of that is coming.

Kat, I laughed at your "plans must be made" line. I am more of the spontaneous, last minute kind of person, but to go to pride I will be willing to make some plans. Yah! SOUNDS GREAT!
