So much leftovers is the reason I don't like to cook for just one, but it beats take out on a regular basis

After a long 14 hour day on a brutal wood floor (oh my aching knees) I am sitting down to some delicious and tasty hand breaded chicken tenders from Hardees with onion rings and a bubbly coke. Lucky me!

Pan seared chicken with baked broccoli and cauliflower in a delicious welch and gruyere cheese sauce.
To the cheese before adding it to the heavy cream I added pepper, cardamom, cumin. Then added greek oregano and rosemary finely chopped and poured over veggies
It was phenomenal!

I rarely eat dinner anymore, but while visiting friends last weekend one of them cooked up some tuna to add to a salad for the 4th. I've been wanting a tuna steak every since.

Made a run to Trader Joe's this week and got me some Tuna, and cooked up a small piece tonight. Had it with a salad and that was all.

It was exactly what I wanted!!

But can you believe these crazy meow meow's of mine won't eat fresh cooked fish of any kind They'd rather have the canned fishy cat foods... go figure. Crazy fur balls!!

Had dinner @ The Waterfront Grill, on the bayou.
Ribeye, grilled shrimp, baked sweet potato, grilled veggies, and a salad. Washed it down with iced tea!!

I had a hot dog and root beer, daisy had the same. Except hers had sweet pickle relish & mustard and mine just had mustard.
Someday, when the heat and or mosquitoes haven't sapped all my energy, I shall fire up my teeny weeny charcoal grill and make some hot dogs. And BBQ chicken. And steaks. Yum!
