I haven't seen the owners, oh well....getting to know my way around.
Strong coffee in the Air Pump Thermos (Costa Rican) in case you care. I made waffle batter and cut up fresh fruit, There is a can of dream whip and they have that cool waffle machine........nice easy breakfast! ~Hey, put your plates in the dishwasher please~ in case Jo, Scoote and the boys are having a life today.......we don't want to leave a mess.  I'm up early....don't want to be, but just can't sleep...yuck! We had a bit of a life yesterday....movie (all 4 of us) and dinner out....still kind of a difficult and exhausting day for purely crappy emotional reasons, so I'm tired and out of sorts this morning. Happy Independence Day to all of you. Hope you are celebrating in whatever form is best for you. Just remember to do it in moderation. LOL As I mentioned several posts back, we have friends coming over for a bbq today. They are supplying all the foods and my honey is doing the bbqing. I will volunteer for the clean up which should be minimal since the foods were prepared at our guest's home. I know the food, the fun, and the laughter will be great. This is the beauty of Jo's kitchen. If you get here first, you can make the coffee...or do more...in Jo's words, we're real casual. Jo provides visual aides.
And if you cook, someone else will usually offer to clean up.....I was eating cereal right out of the box the other day......hope that's NOT too casual.

Kidding  Good morning everyone. Rooster and I were up early today. His girlfriend came over to spend the day and, since her mom has to be to work about 7, we had to be up and dressed a bit early. Nice for them though....the girlfriend is leaving for a school trip to Australia for 3 weeks...and Rooster is leaving for a week in DC and then the rest of the summer with his father...so this is one of the last times they'll get to see each other until school resumes at the end of August. So far they've shared breakfast, walked the dog around the block, had a little sword fight in the front yard (did I mention they're 13...lol)....and there may be swimming in the pool soon.  Coffee's on....help yourselves!

Good morning everyone
It's the crack of dawn (well, before 7) and we're up because the Rooster's girlfriend is over again today. It's their last day to see each other for the summer since she heads out for a 3 week trip on Saturday and he goes for 5 weeks on Sunday. They're beyond cute, and make me smile a lot. Scoote and I have decided to spend the day at Disney...Animal Kingdom to be exact...on Sunday after dropping Rooster at the airport. Just the two of us  I'm looking forward to that.  Oh! Before I forget....I brought a little something for Zimmy and Andrea...   And, for those of us who can't live by marshmallows alone...  Hope you all have a wonderful day!
