Fried Chicken......will it be crispy? I like mine with some crunch. I like to cook, but I also like when someone else cooks for me. I never mind helping in the kitchen.

Now lets get the music cranked up for a line dance or three. I only know one, so I'm up for learning if someone wants to teach me.

I can make my Momma's handed down nanner puddin... The "pudding" is egg yolks, an obscene amount of sugar, milk and vanilla...slowly cooked and constantly stirred (sorta like a roux)...

I've been told that its some grand stuff. I dont eat it, but apparently, I sure can make it....

ohhh you gotta check out that link I have here on perfect fried chicken. Southern Fried Chicken is an art. When you soak it in buttermilk you're adding flavor and fat. Its all about the fat. lol
Then you want to oil just right or you'll have brown outside, raw inside. The link will tell you a lot. Give it roll.

But we'll be happy to provide the fried foods if ya'll bring the fixin's.

I am a Yankee living in Oklahoma and I'll admit, no matter how hard I try, I can't fry. I can never get the oil right. It's either too hot or not hot enough. I can cook almost anything, but keep me away from frying anything.....unless I have a deep fryer I can set the temperature on.
