I like the recipe sharing idea. When I joined WW after my babies were born, was the old school WW, which I really liked a lot-the weighing and measuring and it really worked for me. Tried the points, just could not get into it. If you give me an inch (foodwise) I will take a mile!

Anyway, I do have some great recipes from those days which I shall dig out. I used to always make a pumpkin pie-sans crust and bread pudding that were WW. I will see what I can find.

PS: up to 60 sit-ups now. Still doing stairs, etc. Control feels awesome.

I'd definitely be down for recipe swaps! My favorite are healthy crock pot recipes... soooo easy! I've got some great ones I'll share - should we share them right here, or start a thread for it? Or is there one already?

There are lots of recipe threads, one for a cook book even.

I've never been a fan of the crust (well, I do like the bottom part...just not the outer edges), and I don't add cool whip topping..........so I will look forward to your recipe!!

Wooooo Hooooo!

Sometimes I think it takes time for our bodies to readjust...and they do things on their time schedule, not ours.

I'm glad to hear it's going so well!

Good Morning Everyone,

I decided to weigh myself this morning and I somehow lost 3lbs..Woohoo!!! It must have been all of the walking that we were doing.

I am having cold cereal in the morning for breakfast and coffee. Lunch usually is a sandwich with no side and dinner is usually chicken and veggies or a sandwich..

Have a great day!!!

Good morning healthy peeps!

Well, day 3 of being back on track after the Reunion! We had a slight cold front come in yesterday, so I decided to break out the ol' crockpot for dinner tonight. I'm making a beef & veggie soup/stew. It's got lean stew meat, a few small red potatos, stewed diced tomatos, corn & green beans, beef stock & a low sodium seasoning packet. I bought all the canned veggies with no salt added. I may make a small pan of cornbread.

This morning for breakfast I had Special K with berries cereal, a banana & I'm on my 2nd cup of coffee with fat free vanilla creamer.

Lunch today will be Subway. I am craving a spinach salad with the seafood mix with all the veggies... no dressing, just a lil' pepper. As long as I eat it as a salad it's not too bad ~ it's only 7 points

After dinner, we are going to the park to walk. The crisp, cool air makes walking a lot more enjoyable!

I still haven't weighed in yet... tomorrow is the day! I'm already bracing myself for a gain since I have been kinda lax for a couple weeks. But, I'm back on track... so let's do this thing!

Hope everyone has a great day!

After grabbing my salad from Subway, I went home at lunch today, to add the veggies to the crockpot. Let me tell you my soup is smelling YUMMY! I thought it was gonna be more like a stew... but I guess I added too much water/stock. That's ok... I'm more of a soup person anyway. Tomorrow, the seasonings will have soaked in and it will be even more tasty!

I still haven't ventured off to look for holiday receipes yet.... but have been kinda kicking around different options in my head. Ever since Thinker mentioned Pumpkin Pie and Sunshine mentioned Sweet Potato Pie, I've got those flavors on my brain. I might have to break down & see if I can find at least a sugar free or fat free pumpkin creamer for my coffee

Just from being back on track for the last 3 days, I can already tell a difference with how my body feels. When I eat crap or don't drink enough water, I feel sluggish. I guess the saying is right, "you are what you eat". Luckily, I'm back on track & feeling 100% better already.... mind & body!

Your soup sounds terrific!

Since several folks have mentioned pumpkin type things, I'll share one of mine.
Winter squashes are on my list of "Human Rocket Fuel" items, so I eat this all the time.

It's approximate since I use metric;

Cooked, mashed Butternut squash, 1 cupish
Agave nectar or honey, 1-1.5 teaspoonish
Cinnamon, lots (or maybe pumpkin pie spice )
Salt, just a pinch

moosh this all up and make it hot

Top with walnut pieces 1/2 ounce (15g)
