lifting the veil of nights silence

I shouted from Olympus
whispering there against your flesh
so loudly that the dead night came alive
in a bright swatch of moonlight
silvered across your face
like a shining blade
tatooed upon your still-bleeding from old wounds cheek
I connect small circles on your shoulder
in ever-brightening light with touch lighter
than you
than I
have imagined
resided in fingertips that have delivered
a thousand other messages
in a million other welcoming eager hungry angry places
on your perfectly mastered body
Our synergized imperfect past has empassioned the us
in you and I
to claw our way to the pinnacle of betrayal
of all they told us to hold dear
and we could do that
in the darkest of endless
souless
nights
you and I...
I insisting
and you gratefully accepting
that I am God of gods
in every tone of ungodly voice...
but the earth has shifted now
You and I Us We
are awash in moonlight
I have never fallen to my humility
in the light
to speak unfamiliar words
'til I traced circles on your shoulders
and whispered from Olympus
with virgin voice so strong
that even I
believed the music in it
