It is dangerous for both transmen and transwomen to be outed. I am certainly prejudiced on the subject, but I think that in a lot of ways, it is more dangerous for transwomen, out there. Then again, I could certainly be wrong. I've been outed before, in a hospital that I had never been to before, by the doctor that had sent me there for a test. He had agreed, prior to this, not to use my birth name for anything except for pay purposes. Yet, when I went for my MRI, the appointment was in my birth name, and the clown didn't think that he had done a thing wrong.
