That awkward moment when..

This happened when I was 19...so it's funny NOW.....

I went to a clinic to get a physical so I could take my CNA class. The Dr who gave me the physical also gave me my TB test. She told me to watch the area of the injection for signs of raising, rash etc. Then said, well you may not be able to find it again...and circled it with her pen. I think my jaw dropped to the floor! I told her.. I cant BELIEVE you just did that! I could get blood poisoning!!!! She laughed and said... I think that's just something your mother told you so you wouldn't draw on yourself....

It got me wondering what OTHER nuggets of false wisdom she imparted.....
