I'm so mad at myself. I've been paying for a gym membership since Sept. and haven't used it barely at all. I have been so tired all winter. I feel so guilty and cant seem to jump start myself to getting a routine going again (not to mention the money down the drain!).

Still hammering away at crossfit. It's been kicking my ass. I will say I've only missed one workout in the last month. Every morning is something new and that's pretty cool. Some of the stuff I just can't do. My gym doesn't have rings and probably every 10 days the work out calls for rings and I have to ad lib. I can't do double unders, [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TfjmxeUsIs"]YouTube- Double Unders demo[/nomedia], but I keep trying. And one day I'll be a big dog.

I've seen the advertisements for Insanity on TV and it looks like a killer. Unfortunately, I don't think my knee could take it (blew it out when I was pregnant with Katie and it still gives me trouble)...and I don't know there is much you can do to modify a program like that.
Keep us posted, Jet...I'm curious to see how it goes.

Yes, I do. At least, I did today. Oh, I missed it!
An hour of cardio at a moderate pace (it's been a couple of weeks since I've been and didn't want to push myself too hard), 10 minutes on the rowing machine, about 5 minutes of ab work and a good stretching session and I feel wonderful! My neck and shoulders tend to tighten up when I'm stressed and/or it's been a while since I've worked out (it keeps my limber) and I've had both to deal with lately. They were sooooo tight last night and early this morning and now....ahhhh. I feel sooo much better! |
