I suspect it's an opinion piece from a right ring POV and likely has more FUD in it than fact. One of the prominent things that has happened is that American journalism is a facade for the purposes of pushing an opinion along with telling viewers what they should think rather than reporting on facts and letting viewers/readers to decide on their own what to think.
