Last night:

Seafood platter (scrod, mussels, stuffed shrimp, scallops) with baked tater and slaw and awesome grilled veggies (honestly, the best part of the meal...along with the scallops)

Tonight:

Popeye's for my first time ever. Doesn't compare to Bojangles or Church's down south, but the rice and beans had a lil kick

my sweet part timer brought me a small bag of home grown cherry tomatoes. Such a treat!

Cottage cheese with tomatoes and avocado.

I tossed a few meatballs from the freezer into a pot of delicious red pasta sauce, and then spooned that on top of raw julienne zucchini. I'm liking it!

A little bit of this, a little bit of that tossed into a skillet and wala!

Basically, garden pasta with shaved beef, button mushrooms and Newman's Own Sockarooni pasta sauce simmered together in a skillet. It was my first time trying that sauce and it's really not bad. I love the chunks of tomato and pepper in it.

So, I had skillet pasta and sauce with a side salad of mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, a dusting of shredded cheese and a Greek dressing.

Oh and a tiny can of root beer.

I had really yummy soup from MGM Grand. Chicken and matzo ball. It was soo good.

Tonight is hooters wings.

They were so yummy last time!! And we had a pretty cute waitress

Last night was a southern Sunday dinner...

grilled boneless pork chops
purple hull peas (slow cooked in onion & bacon)
over rice
cornbread
and sliced tomatoes

OMG... yum! And there is plenty left for lunch today and/or dinner tonight

When I order pizza, I usually get a large size to pop any extra pieces in the freezer and take out on days like today. So, I'm going to heat up the oven and have some slices!
