I joined Butch Femme Planet to meet some like-minded people. To be honest, I am just really embracing that I am, in fact, butch.

I guess when I was younger, and first coming out, I had a different idea of what "being butch" meant. And not in a good way.

But recently I have accepted that I am butch. And that it's okay. It's a part of who I am. Something that is natural, innate to me.

Anyway, it's great to meet you all. I look forward to being a part of the community and exploring.

Hi G! Welcome to the planet and welcome to your new found Butchness! What an exciting time! I remember when I first told my lesbians friends that I was Butch, they laughed at me so that went back into the closet until I found my first femme and the flood gates opened and I heard harps and the rest was history.

You'll meet a lot of great people here and like you said, the need for like minded people is something we all crave, which is why most of us are here. Enjoy!

Hi homoe. Thanks for the welcome. It's funny that you should say that about Chicago, because Seattle is my favorite city. Lived out there for 13 weeks a few summers ago and absolutely loved it.
